The third day begins to reveal the treasures of Sri Lanka's deep culture. The first stop is the Golden Temple of Dambulla, a symbol of religious heritage and an important pilgrimage site. The atmosphere here is special, created by thousands of candles and the scent of incense. Nearby is the Hindu temple, which reflects the richness of ethnic roots and adds colour to Sri Lanka's cultural mix. After leaving Dambulla, you'll head to the Royal Botanical Garden in Kandy, a place where flowers and plants create a musical harmony of scent and colour. Then you will visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, one of Sri Lanka's most important Buddhist shrines. Later you head to Ambuluwawa Tower, rising above green valleys and hills. From there you get a sweeping view over the landscape, framed by nature. The day ends with the sound of Ravana Falls, where you'll feel the freshness and lightness as you stand in the cool flow of the stream.

The fifth day brings new flavours and sensations through tea plantations, where women's gentle hands pick the golden leaves of the future drink. Between rows of tea bushes and fresh mountain air, you'll sense traditions and craftsmanship passed down through generations. After a fast drive through the tea hills, you head to the Nine Arch Bridge, where old stones tell stories of love and resilience. The railway that once linked distant corners of Sri Lanka is closely tied to the bridge and has become a symbol of the country's unity.

Huge thanks to Yasir and his team (the photographer and the driver) for the two-day tour. These are memories for a lifetime, and special thanks for getting us to places when there were no crowds of tourists 🙏 We saw insanely beautiful places, but for me the breakfast with elephants was the most impressive and memorable. If you're wondering whether it's worth going, definitely go ☺️
