🌄 Little Adam's Peak

The tour starts with a drive to Ella, where you'll climb Little Adam's Peak. The route runs through green hills, and from the top you can enjoy beautiful views of Sri Lanka's mountain region.

💦 Ravana Falls

Next stop: Ravana Falls, one of the best-known natural sights near Ella. Here you can take photos, walk along the cascade and rest a little before continuing the route.

🌉 Nine Arch Bridge

Next, you'll head to the famous Nine Arch Bridge. The stone viaduct is surrounded by jungle and tea-covered hills, and the train crossing the bridge makes this one of the most recognizable spots in Sri Lanka.

🚆 Train ride

The itinerary includes a short train ride along the mountain section of the route. From the windows you'll see tea plantations, green slopes and the natural scenery of the island's central region.

🍃 Tea plantation

Before the safari, you'll visit a tea plantation, where you can learn about one of Sri Lanka's main symbols: Ceylon tea. Your guide will explain how tea leaves are grown and processed.

🐆 Safari in Yala National Park

The highlight of the trip is a jeep safari in Yala National Park. During the drive through the park, you may see elephants, water buffalo, deer, crocodiles, birds and other wildlife.

Yala is also known for the chance to spot a leopard, but wildlife sightings always depend on nature and cannot be guaranteed.

🚐 Back to the hotel

After the safari, the group heads back. In one day, you'll combine the mountains of Ella, a train ride, tea plantations and Yala's wildlife.

Yesterday we came back from a two-day tour with an overnight stay at the Elephant Bay hotel and a climb up Sigiriya (choose this rock for the climb). It was AMAZING!!!! WONDERFUL!!! The best tour!!! Our guide Dinesh was a genius. He kept us laughing the whole way, told us the history of Sri Lanka, answered all our questions, shared lots of interesting facts, and helped with photos and videos! All the locations on the tour were chosen really well, and everything felt heartfelt! A special thanks to our driver Shalinda, who drove us safely and with style! Memories for a year ahead, maybe for a lifetime! These two days felt like we had travelled for a week across different countries, with different climates, nature and architecture, all in one place on a small island, Sri Lanka.

We loved the Heart of Sri Lanka tour! It was a beautifully organised trip. We saw an incredible number of sights and felt the atmosphere of this amazing country. A special thanks for helping us with the most important moment of our trip: a marriage proposal at the top of Sigiriya. Help choosing the perfect moment and place among one of the wonders of the world made the day truly unforgettable. A special mention goes to the night at the Mountain Heavens hotel. Waking up, stepping onto the balcony and seeing elephants wandering below was simply beautiful. The best part that made the trip perfect was our guide Yasir, the heart of the trip! He spoke with great charm about every sight, knew the best angles for photos and anticipated our wishes. His care, attentiveness and great sense of humour created a truly friendly and comfortable atmosphere. We felt completely safe and as if we were travelling with an old friend. Thank you to Yasir and the whole team! We will definitely recommend you to our friends!

Sharing our impressions on the way home from the wonderful two-day tour "Heart of Sri Lanka"! Other reviews have already covered the tour itself well, so we'd like to describe the experience we had thanks to our guide Yasir and our driver Usama. A few words about the road: the car was comfortable and new, and the air conditioning saved us the whole way. Despite the winding mountain roads, the driver kept to every traffic rule, like a European driver. But a special thank you goes to Yasir. He helped us with every little question throughout the trip. He is very caring and attentive. When someone tried to sell us something expensive, he took us to another place where the same thing cost less. At the tea factory, we were offered only one type of tea for tasting. Yasir stood up for us, and in the end we got to try every variety. On the way, he showed us many inexpensive places where we could get tasty food and fruit. Yasir is also a very interesting person. For two days we chatted about his country's culture and compared it with ours. His English is excellent, he is well-read, and he speaks several languages. He even gets the memes 😄 To our surprise, Yasir changed up our plans. At the end of the second day, we stopped at a village where we were shown traditional village life and customs, and we were fed traditional food and sweets. We even got to crack open a coconut 🥥 And I have to say, Yasir is a professional photographer. The photos in this message are his. We're now almost at our villa, where we'll rest after such a full and emotional schedule. Many thanks to the organizers, Yasir, Usama and the local people of Sri Lanka!
