The main part of the route is the climb to Sigiriya or Pidurangala. Sigiriya is known for its ancient frescoes, lion paws and palace ruins, while Pidurangala offers a beautiful view of Sigiriya.

Hello everyone. From 31 March to 01 April we went on a 2-day tour with a climb up Sigiriya. There were three of us: me, my husband and our 17-year-old daughter. Our guide was Ishar. We liked everything: the punctuality, the clear organization, the informative commentary and the help with every question that came up. Ishar also took photos of everyone on his own phone and later sent us the pictures in good quality. The tour was in Russian, everything was clear and to the point, and we got answers to most of our questions, not only about the tour but about Sri Lanka in general. In addition to the 2-day program, the tour operator surprised us with a buffalo ride and a boat ride in a village before lunch. The tour made a strong impression. We came away with lots of positive emotions, and the Ambuluwala Tower impressed us most. The climb up Sigiriya was gradual, and the guide stopped in shaded spots whenever possible to tell us about Sigiriya. I've attached photos from the main locations of this program. Plus, we also sent postcards from the post office.

We took the two-day tour on 9–10 April. I travel a lot and have seen many beautiful places. Russian-speaking guides are good everywhere, but I've never met one as stylish and smart as our guide in Sri Lanka. Oshan is a wonderful person who knows everything about his country and pays attention to everyone in the group. Olga told me he's one of their best, but I'd say he's the very best. Thank you to Oshan for the good mood and the experience, and to Olga for organizing our trip around Sri Lanka. 🤗🤗🤗
